yes i am completely in love with nail polish and nail art.. lol.. im not that good with it.. still sticking to basic one toned colours.. i absolutely love candy and pastel colours though they contrast wildly against my skin tone.. but thats probably why i love em anyway.. its meant to be flaunted anyways XD.. i decided to indulge in those stick on nail art and it seriously looks like 3-D acrylic paint jobs once applied.. it works better when u add an extra top layer to hold them in for a longer time.. i realised that experimenting with these stuff allows new discoveries.. :P

1. it's always a good idea to add an extra last layer of colour after the paint job has dried to avoid chipping.. (hate it when that happens)

2. it's ok to simply add on to chipped parts of the nail.. you dont have to repaint the whole finger..

3. base coats may help.. but then again, it can also result in frail nails.. doesnt work for me..

4. dont be afraid to go for bold colours.. makes you stand out :)

5. you can never have too much bling.. feel free to pile on the shimmer to bring out a dull colour :)

6. never paint nails with the fan on.. NEVER.. it hardens the nail polish and makes it gooey and thick..

7. shimmer can be used as a top coat on your nail stickers.. has a nice effect..

8. you cant help it.. but water is a foe when it comes to pretty nails..

9. paint nails and forget about washing your hair.. lol..

well i guess i aint that experienced yet to go on with my list.. but this is all i have for the time being.. amateur DIY nail painting lady on the go~~
